Micanite Flex

Micanite Flex M&P comes in the form of flexible laminated sheet after laminating, pressing and baking process, consists of quality muscovite or phlogopite mica paper impregnated with high temperature resistant silicon resin as binding agent.
Fire resistance classification UL94 (94 V-0).

Application
Micanite Flex M&P can be cold-formed at room temperature used in hair dryers, fan heaters, microwave oven circuit breakers and transformers. Micanite Flex M&P can be cold-formed at room temperature used in hair dryers, fan heaters, microwave oven circuit breakers and transformers.
Micanite Flex M-temp & P-temp widely used as linings, gaskets, spacers, covers and backings, separating sheet and insulating parts in different industries of household appliance, automobile, metallurgy military, shipping and petrochemical.
In certain applications, installation is facilitated by spring-like action, gaskets or self-sealing products with requirement of high thermal insulation and mechanical strength.

Processing
Micanite Flex M&P can be easily punched or sheared. Tools for punching precise parts should be provided with spring loaded hold-down plates. It can be easily formed into tubular shapes at room temperature.
