Polyimide & Glass Mica Tape

Description
Polyimide Film & Glass Cloth Backed Mica Tape (equivalent to POROBAND® PIN 2851) is a triplex laminate constructed of muscovite paper bonded to polyimide film (e.g. Kapton) or corona resistant polyimide film (CR PI ) and glass cloth with a high temperature silicone binder.
This Mica Tape has excellent flexibility and does not loose mica dust when used in machine taping. It maintains high thermal resistance, good corona resistance, excellent physical and electrical properties.

Application
Polyimide Film Glass Cloth Backed Mica Tape is widely used as an insulation material for electrical wire cable, traction motor, transformer, and coils of class R (220°C).
